"ALVA KEENE CAPTURES HORSESHOE CROWN" Alva Keene of Louisville won the State Horseshoe 
Pitching Championship Sunday afternoon at Shawnee Park. More than 100 members of the Kentucky
Horseshoe Pitcher's Association being in the services, this year's tournament drew only 10 contestants.
